Our Story
Founded by Julius Harford, a seasoned IT professional with
over 23 years in the field including a 17-year tenure managing IT for a large
government department, Takuratech was born out of the desire to offer strong,
trustworthy IT support to businesses that often feel underserved. Over the
years, we’ve helped numerous clients in Pretoria & Gauteng protect their
data, streamline their systems, and grow with confidence.
Meet the Team
Julius Harford
Julius is our founder & lead consultant. He brings credentials including Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer in Windows Server, training in ethical hacking & cybersecurity, and deep experience supporting over 300 users in challenging environments. Julius believes in tech with purpose—secure, user-friendly, and transparent.
Simoné Harford
Simone is the driving force behind Takuratech — making sure no time goes to waste and that every idea turns into action.
She’s also the founder of Chroma Equus Design (CED), a creative marketing service that helps small businesses build professional online presences without the high agency fees.
With expertise in social media strategy, content creation, and brand visibility across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Google Business, Simone helps clients turn attention into action.
